Tickets for next year's Electric Picnic festival have sold out less than an hour after going on sale.
The three-day event in Stradbelly, Co Laois is to have an increased capacity of 5,000.
In a statement this morning, organisers said: "Loyalty tickets and general admission tickets for Electric Picnic 2024 went on sale on Ticketmaster this morning at 9am.

"Tickets for next year's event were snapped up in under an hour by Electric Picnic fans. All general admission, family camping and campervan and loyalty tickets are now sold out."
The festival is moving next year from its traditional September slot to Friday 16 to Sunday 18 August.

At this year's event, folk group the Wolfe Tones drew the largest crowd ever seen at a covered stage in the history of the festival. Performers over the three days also included Billie Eilish and Niall Horan and The Killers.
This year's festival was also notable for a visit from US rap superstar Kanye West who was spotted watching a performance from singer Steve Lacy.
