Co Derry campaigner Emma DeSouza has revealed her husband is to become an Irish citizen.
Ms DeSouza, who has contributed columns to the Irish News, revealed her US-born husband Jake will be granted citizenship later this month.
The activist famously took on the UK Home Office in a high-profile case over the rights of those born in the north to hold Irish citizenship, after her husband's residency application was rejected in 2016.
