A PLANE traveling from Belfast to Corfu has been forced to make an emergency landing in Manchester after a cabin member required "urgent medical attention".
The easyJet flight departed from Belfast International Airport at 3.14pm on Thursday afternoon, but shortly afterwards began its descent into Manchester Airport.
The flight later took off and was due to arrive in the Greek island at around 9pm.
An easyJet spokesperson said: "We can confirm that flight EZY3057 from Belfast to Corfu diverted to Manchester due to a cabin crew member requiring urgent medical attention.
"A replacement crew has been found and the flight is continuing to Corfu. We would like to thank passengers for their patience and understanding. The safety and wellbeing of our crew and passengers is always easyJet's highest priority."
