A 20-year-old man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today charged with murder.

Martin Gavin, who was 47, was stabbed at his house on Harcourt Drive in the north of the city on January 7.

He died in hospital four weeks later on February 6.

Last month, independent charity Crimestoppers offered a reward of up to £20,000 for anonymous information it receives that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder.

A 20-year-old man arrested on Monday in connection with the murder was yesterday charged.

Two other people, a 45-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, who were also arrested on Monday, were released.
