Third man arrested following discovery of £600,000 cannabis factory

POLICE investigating a suspected cannabis factory in Co Fermanagh have arrested a third man.

Suspected cannabis plants with a street value of approximately £600,000 were located after PSNI officers received reports of a suspected fuel laundering plant in the Ederney area on Wednesday.

Following the find, two men were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and intent to supply Class B drugs.

Yesterday, a third man was arrested on a number of offences including cultivating cannabis.

All three men remained in police custody helping with enquiries last night.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "I would ask any member of the public who has any information which could be of assistance to police to contact the police on non-emergency number 101."
