A Cavan gaelic footballer who battled testicular cancer is among the guests who will appear on RTE's Late Late Show tonight.

GAA star Oisin Kiernan will be having a chat with host Ryan Tubridy about this diagnosis in 2018, treatment and subsequent football comeback.

Also appearing on tonight's show is Westlife star Shane Filan, who will be discussing for the first time how he coped with recently losing both of his parents, Mae and Peter, to cancer, just 10 months apart.

The popular singer will also discuss the vital work of the Irish Cancer Society in providing support for patients and families dealing with cancer, and also share news on Westlife's upcoming plans.

He will also perform a Westlife favourite in honour of his parents.

Irish twins Jedward, who are best known for their famous quiffs, will also be appearing on the show and will have their heads shaved live on air to raise Daffodil Day donations.

John and Edward, whose mother Susanna died in 2019 from cancer, said: "We are honouring the memory of all those who have come and gone, we are sending strength and love to all those suffering.

"It's heartbreaking that all our loved ones aren't with us, but they will be looking down on us from heaven".
