Footage has emerged on social media of two men carrying hurling sticks being called “Fenian bas***ds” by a passing motorist in north Belfast.

It is understood the incident took place in the Ballysillan Road area in recent days.

Footage posted on social media shows the victims walking along the street when a passing vehicle slows down.

On the video, which appears to have been taken from inside the culprit's car, a man can heard to shout “Fenian bast**ds” before driving forward a short distance and repeating the insult followed by “f**king w**ker” and finally another expletive.

One of the victims can be hear shouting back, “yeehaa, come on out and have a game of hurling you ugly baldy (inaudible)”.
