A 20-year-old man has been questioned after a stabbing in north Belfast.

Police said a man suffered two stab wounds, which are not believed to be life-threatening, at Northwick Drive shortly before 6.30am yesterday.

"It is believed the injured male was out in the street when he was approached by an unknown male," a spokesperson said.

"An altercation took place and the unknown male pulled out a knife. The injured male sustained two stab wounds."

A man was arrested by police and later released on bail pending further inquiries.
