A PENSIONER accused of historical child sexual abuse has been found not guilty at a hearing at Dungannon Crown Court.

Brendan Conlan (77), of Orritor Street, Cookstown, was acquitted by the jury, on the direction of the judge, on December 10 and told he was free to go.

Mr Conlan had faced charges alleging indecent assault against a female and an act of gross indecency towards a child dating back to 1976 and 1979.
