POLICE are continuing to question a man in connection with the rape of a woman at a popular Co Tyrone country park.
The man, aged 23, was detained by police earlier today.
A woman was attacked while walking her dog on an isolated path in Peatlands Park, Dungannon on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the victim suffered “an appalling attack”. The attacker made off from the scene on a black mountain bike.
