A POLICE station on west Belfast's Stewartstown Road has been evacuated after a man is believed to have thrown an object at the building.
The road has been closed at its junctions with Blacks Road and Suffolk Road as police examine the object at Woodbourne police station.
The PSNI has advised motorists to seek an alternative route.
