Man charged in relation to March 4 serious assault in Limavady

Incident took place in the Donald’s Way area of the Co Derry town

A man has been charged with a series of offences relating to a serious assault in Limavady earlier this month.

The 21-year-old was charged on Friday with grievous bodily harm with intent, possessing an article with a point or blade in a public place, and attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and affray.

The serious assault occurred in the Donald’s Way area of the Co Derry town on Monday March 4.

The accused is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court on Saturday March 23.
