Man (31) charged after north Belfast drug arrest

A 31-year-old man has been charged by detectives following a north Belfast drug arrest last year.

Officers from the PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force had searched a property in the Mossvale Street area on Friday, September 22.

A quantity of suspected herbal cannabis and associated paraphernalia were seized during the raid.

The man was arrested after the search on suspicion of a number of offences and later bailed to allow for further enquiries.



On Thursday, he was charged with being concerned with the supply of a class B controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is now due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 2.

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service in line with normal procedure.
