An annual Easter commemoration linked to hardline political party Saoradh will take place in Dublin this year.

The parade is being arranged by the National Republican Commemoration Committee, which organises events on behalf of Saoradh.

The ‘Unfinished Revolution’ themed Easter commemoration was held in west Belfast last year and included members of a colour party dressed in combat-style clothing.

Trouble erupted at a similar parade in Derry in 2022.

The parade is expected to take place from the Garden of Remembrance to the GPO on Easter Saturday, which falls on March 30 this year.

In a statement the National Republican Commemoration Committee said: “The historical significance and symbolism of gathering in Dublin, particularly the Garden of Remembrance, will not be lost on genuine republicans at home and abroad.”
