RARE diseases workshops are being held across Northern Ireland.

The Department of Health and the Northern Ireland Rare Disease Partnership are leading the meetings and want to hear from patients, carers, healthcare professionals and policy-makers who have experience of, or are involved in, the field of rare diseases.

Participants will be asked what information they need to help them tackle the challenges of a rare disease, how that information should be made available and how they would like to participate in designing, delivering and evaluating services for rare diseases.

There will also be an online survey and opportunities to contribute through social media.
