Now TV is increasing its entertainment pass price by £1, to £9.99 per month, from September 1. Beat the hike in the short term by applying a pass for several months at the existing rate before then. In the meantime, watch out for special offers, often bundled with new set-top boxes or TV sticks, at www.hotukdeals.co.uk - in particular, if you own an older LG NetCast smart TV, which will no longer let you watch Now TV using its built-in app as of August 24. If you own an affected LG model, fill in a complaints form on Now TV’s website - you might just get yourself a free smart stick, as I did.
