GAA on TV this weekend: Mickey meets Jim and Limerick begin drive for five

The Ulster Championship meeting of Derry v Donegal is one of several tantalising fixtures on offer for the couch potato.

This weekend is Championship at fever-pitch. Even in a hectic sporting calendar, it would be foolish to cast your eye away from events in Celtic Park this Saturday evening.

Mickey Harte, Jim McGuinness. That in itself in box office. You won’t hear any calls to scrap the provincials around the Bogside.

Nor in the specially extended Cusack Park in Ennis, with a full 20,000 gearing up to watch Clare attempt to put a dent in this all-conquering Limerick side.

And if you’re still not satisfied with the biggest clashes of 2024 to date, there’s a further four matches on offer, with Cavan and Cork looking to upset the odds.
