Just six days left to enter Greater Newry Business Awards

THERE is less than a week left (the deadline is Monday July 19) to submit entries for he Greater Newry Area Business Awards, which are due to take place on September 9 in the city's Canal Court Hotel.

There are 25 awards categories in the biennial awards (details at www.newrychamber.com), which recognise and reward the very best the region’s business community has to offer, and every business located in the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area will have the opportunity to enter up to four categories.

Prinical sponsors for the awards are Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and Shelbourne Motors, alongside a number of category sponsors including the Irish News, which is sponsoring the Best Place to Work category.

Newry Chamber president Emma Mullen-Marmion, said: “The Greater Newry Area is synonymous with entrepreneurship, innovation, excellent service, product quality and customer care, and we look forward to receiving applications before next Monday's deadline.
