A BELFAST-based serviced apartment provider has announced a six-figure investment with plans to expand into ten European cities by 2022.

The recently rebranded Dream Luxury Serviced Apartments, said the move could create 300 jobs, adding 500 new apartments to its portfolio.

Owned and operated by Belfast businessman, Tom Smyth, the company currently employs over 200 people and operate more than 400 properties worldwide.

It recently appointed Belfast’s Kaizen Brand Evolution to design its new branding.

“Post-lockdown we have found ourselves in a very different trading environment,” said Mr Smyth.

“However, amidst the challenges also lies brilliant opportunities. The world travel market is reinventing itself and the hospitality market is going through a transformation.

“We are at the centre of that, ready to evolve, change direction, and meet the new market demand head on.”

Mr Smyth said he believes the demand for high-end accommodation still exists.

“We are in the midst of new builds and deals in major cities in the UK including Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Liverpool, Middleborough, Dublin, Leeds, York, Cork, London and Berlin.

“We believe the staycation, family, leisure market is the future.

"The corporate market and our ability to provide accommodation in prime locations in cities across the world, close to the central business districts, airports, main arterial routes and city centres has allowed us to continue to grow quickly,” he added.

"We are staying focused on these growth plans and not being deterred. We are committed to becoming a serious global player in the travel market with an excellent reputation for providing accommodation to both corporate and leisure clients.”
