FERRY company Stena Line has scooped the top freight award at a prestigious Irish transport awards.
Stena Line was awarded the Excellence in Maritime Logistics Award at the Export & Freight 2017 Awards held at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall recently.
Over 700 members of the local and national transport and logistics industry attended the awards ceremony, the biggest event in the Irish transport calendar which recognises the depth and diversity of an industry fully deserving of recognition and reward.
Anna Breen, Stena Line’s freight commercial manager said: “This was a great performance in a highly competitive market and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the Stena Line Freight team who have worked so hard to help us achieve this memorable accolade."
Stena Line is the largest ferry operator on the Irish Sea, offering the biggest fleet and the widest choice of routes between Britain and Ireland.
