Veteran rockers Status Quo are the latest name to be announced to play at Live At Botanic Gardens in Belfast next summer.

Status Quo need no introduction – more hit singles than any other band, more hit albums than The Beatles, more appearances on Top Of The Pops than any other act….the list goes on and on.

Led by founder Francis Rossi, the legendary band have recorded 64 hit singles including classics such as Caroline, Down Down, Pictures of Matchstick Men, In The Army Now, The Wanderer, Burning Bridges and Rockin’ All Over the World.

In 1985, the band opened the legendary Live Aid at Wembley Stadium and their longevity has introduced their music to generation after generation.


Status Quo, who will play Belfast on May 28, join folk legend Christy Moore, Christian experimental, folk rock Rend Collective and The Classical for the popular Belfast outdoor concert series.

Tickets for Status Quo Live at Botanic Gardens will be on sale from Thursday, November 23, at 9am via Ticketmaster.
