SWEDISH electronic musician and DJ Avicii could play his last gig in Belfast, after he announced his retirement from touring yesterday.
Avicii – real name Tim Bergling – has posted in a letter on his website that he will perform his shows planned for the rest of 2016 but added that they will be "his last tour and last shows".
At the end of the letter - posted in full below - Avicii included a phone number and encouraged fans to text him about the news.
Avicii's website shows that he has gigs lined up across Europe and America from April until August.
The final show on the list is Avicii's performance at Tennent's Vital at Belfast Boucher Playing Fields on August 26.
Some fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the news.
