A NEW trailer for Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon has just been released.
Written by Scorsese and Eric Roth based on the true story chronicled in David Grann's best-selling book, Killers of the Flower Moon is an epic western crime saga set in Oklahoma’s oil-rich Osage community during the 1920s and centred on the romance between Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone).
At the turn of the 20th century, the Native American Osage Nation tribe struck oil and became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder.
The Apple Original Films production starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone and Jesse Plemons will premiere in cinemas on October 20.
