GERMAN synthmeisters Kraftwerk return to Ireland this weekend. Ralf Hutter, Henning Schmitz, Fritz Hilpert and Falk Grieffenhagen bring their Kraftwerk 3-D show to Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre for a sold-out two-night stand tonight and tomorrow before heading up the road to The Waterfront Hall in Belfast on Sunday – tickets for the latter date were still available at time of writing.
The Irish gigs are part of the seminal Dusseldorf band's current European European tour which will see them performing with the aid of high-tech video backdrops and special lighting effects for audiences equipped with 3D glasses – 40 years of man/machine music transformed into a totally immersive krautrock experience.
