CHRIS Henry is fit again and is expected to return to the Ulster squad for Friday night’s PRO12 clash with Glasgow at Kingspan Stadium.

The Ireland flanker has missed the province’s last four matches with a shoulder injury but has been given medical clearance to return for the game with the defending PRO12 champions.

Henry, who last played in the Champions Cup win over Oyannax in France in January, had been replaced by Sean Reidy – who has scored tries in Ulster’s last three matches.

There was also good news on the injury front for Robbie Diack and Stuart Olding, both of whom have recovered from injury and are expected to be fit for Friday’s match.

Olding, who only recently returned to action after almost a year out due to a cruciate ligament injury, had to go off on Friday night after colliding with Dragons full-back Carl Meyer.

However fly-half Ian Humphreys and full-back Louis Ludik are both rated as extremely doubtful after picking up knocks during the same game, while winger Rory Scholes is a definite non-starter with a leg injury.

Humphreys had to come off at half-time on Friday to be replaced by Paddy Jackson, who had been deemed surplus to requirements by Ireland coach Joe Schmidt for the Six Nations opener with Wales.

Ulster director of rugby Less Kiss will learn later in the week whether or not Schmidt will again release Jackson and centre Stuart McCloskey ahead of the Ireland’s trip to France.

Jackson kicked the winning penalty in the 17-15 victory over the Dragons as Ulster moved a point clear at the top of the table.

Glasgow, who beat Ulster in the semi-finals of the PRO12 last year, are eighth in the standings, 12 points off the pace but have two games in hand over most of their rivals.
