MARK Allen will face Si Jiahui in the last 32 of the BetVictor Welsh Open in Llandudno on Thursday after beating Ma Hailong 4-0 on Tuesday night.
The highlight of Allen’s win was a 141 total clearance in frame three, while Jiahui – who, like Allen, was a beaten semi-finalist at last year’s World Championship – enjoyed a 4-2 win over Andrew Pagett.
Jordan Brown joins the action on Wednesday morning when he plays English teenager Stan Moody, while Cork’s Aaron Hill takes on Mark Selby in the afternoon action.
