Jordan Brown lost his World Championship qualifier against England’s Jenson Kendrick on Saturday.

The world number 39 was beaten 10-5 losing the first four frames of the evening session after recovering from 5-1 down to trail 5-4 at the end of the morning session.

He did get a stay of execution by winning frame 14 but a 52 break gave Kendrick the victory.

Cork’s Aaron Hill takes on England’s Matt Selt on Sunday for a place in the final qualifying round.
