SWATRAGH produced the most eye-catching result of the weekend’s club action as they travelled to Dungiven and won 7-12 to 2-7.

Francis McKearney grabbed a hat-trick while Paul McAtamney, Lorcan McWilliams, Conor McAtamney and Eoghan O’Kane were amongst the goals in the 20-point win.

Elsewhere in the Oakleaf county, Slaughtneil came back to beat Bellaghy, Banagher lost to Coleraine by four, Magherafelt came from six points down to draw with Lavey while Ballinascreen beat the Loup by two points. In last night’s late game, Glen left Ballinderry with a 0-13 to 2-5 win.

In Armagh, Crossmaglen also produced a notable result as they went to Senior A holders Ballymacnab and won 4-12 to 0-12 on Friday.

With county players Paul Hughes and James Morgan in their team, the damage was done in the first half as they led 3-9 to 0-3 at half-time. The ‘Nab did improve considerably after the break but the visitors still left with a double-scores victory.

The early pace is still being set by 2017 county finalists Armagh Harps and Maghery who are both on three wins from three.

The Harps hit a quick 1-2 at the start of the second half to leave Dromintee with a 1-7 to 0-6 win while Maghery were 3-9 to 0-6 winners over Silverbridge. Killeavy’s good start to the season also continued as they defeated Cullyhanna 2-7 to 0-8.

In Down Mayobridge will enjoy their break tonight having made it two wins from two with an impressive 1-15 to 0-13 win over Burren on Friday night.

Fergal Reel’s side, who are the ‘bye’ side for tonight’s fixtures, led 1-7 to 0-7 at the break with Cory Quinn grabbing the only goal of the game eight minutes before half-time.

Burren will aim to respond at home to Warrenpoint tonight but they will have to do so without county defender Steven Fegan who picked up a serious shoulder injury against Mayobridge.

Pete McGrath’s Rostrevor can make it three wins from three when they welcome Loughinisland this evening following Friday’s impressive win in Bryansford.

The Magpies delivered a statement of intent last Thursday with a 5-18 to 0-5 win over Downpatrick on Thursday and John Rafferty’s side will be chasing a response at home to Clonduff tonight.

Tonight’s other game will see Ballyholland welcome Bryansford with the home side still on the hunt for their first points of the season following their 0-15 to 0-7 loss to Warrenpoint on Friday.

New boys Enniskillen Gaels are the only side sitting with three wins from three in Fermanagh following their 3-9 to 0-11 over Teemore on Friday night.

The Gaels, who were promoted last year, are now a point ahead of Ederney who defeated Erne Gaels 2-6 to 1-6 yesterday.

Kinawley suffered their first league defeat of the season as Roslea beat them 1-9 to 0-6 while Irvinestown defeated Derrygonnelly 1-9 to 0-9. Devenish were 1-12 to 1-9 winners against St Patrick’s.

In Antrim St Gall’s made it three wins from three with a 1-7 to 0-6 win against Lamh Dhearg while St Enda’s recorded the biggest win in Division One with a 2-12 to 0-8 success against St Terersa. There were also wins for Naomh Eoin, Portglenone, Cargin and Ahoghill against Creggan, Aghagallon, St Brigid’s and Gort na Mona respectively.
