ARMAGH RATINGS

Niall Geoghegan: Didn't have a save to make and dealt with everything that came his way efficiently. Kicked the ball out accurately to the wings after Fermanagh held sway down the middle. 6

Andy Mallon: Tomas Corrigan scored three points off him, all excellent efforts, But as the game wore on Mallon came to the fore and was a threat in attack himself. 6

Charlie Vernon: Picked up Sean Quigley and then Daniel Kille after Quigley moved out to the middle third. Didn't concede a score from play and even popped up in the Fermanagh goalmouth when Armagh forced a disallowed 'goal'. 7

Michael Murray: Quick, disciplined and full of running. The Cullyhanna defender kept Ciaran Flaherty quiet and worked hard in defence. 7

James Morgan: A formidable opponent, Morgan is tough in the tackle and mobile. He displayed his reserves of energy with a late run and tackle that denied Darren McQuade a shot. 8

Finnian Moriarty: Two bookings led to a harsh red card for the Wolfe Tone clubman. Was walking a thin line after an early yellow. 6

Mark Shields: Reads the game well and knows his role in Armagh's defensive system. Provided the assist for Ciaron O'Hanlon's score. 7

Ciaron O'Hanlon: Lots of potential and though he'll have better days in midfield he kept going and got on the scoresheet in the second half. 7

Ethan Rafferty: Replaced Jamie Clarke as the left-footed free-taker and scored three points from dead balls. He also hit the Fermanagh upright and put himself about in midfield where he had a good tussle with Ryan Jones. 7

Tony Kernan: Here, there, everywhere. The Crossmaglen clubman contributed six points (five frees) and worked from defence to attack over the 70 minutes. Excellent display. 8

Micheal McKenna: Played in Forker for his goal chance and worked hard to win the ball. Substituted to make way for McKeever after Moriarty was sent off. 6

Aidan Forker: Was threatening to fall foul of the referee when he was taken off. Forker is an option around the middle and puts in a lot of hard yards in the Armagh cause. Had a goal chance but blasted over the bar. 7

Kevin Dyas: Got better and better as the game wore on and when space opened up in the second half he showcased his range of passing. Capped his first start of the year with a late point. 7

Andy Murnin: Fermanagh couldn't handle him. He caused Tiarnan Daly all manner of problems and won five pointed frees. On this form he's a handful for any defender. 8

Jamie Clarke: He enjoyed himself on Saturday night. The Crossmaglen star scored two points and linked seamlessly with Tony Kernan. Showed his class. 8
