FINALLY, I read last week that fellow Irish News columnist Danny Hughes made some generalisations about my waistline and, unfortunately, I have to concur with the Saval man that it is definitely not getting any smaller. Personally, I lay the blame squarely on the fact that after 2002 I was invited to so many dinner dances and big feeds to recount stories of our multiple Ulster titles and our All-Ireland success that the pounds were always going to creep on. Luckily for Danny (right) there is not much chance of him putting on weight for the same reasons.
