Karl Lacey (Donegal)
DONEGAL have two truly exceptional footballers - Karl Lacey and Michael Murphy. In order to be credible challengers for the All-Ireland title, both players must be fully fit.
After undergoing an operation last year, there were widespread fears in Donegal that Karl Lacey had lost that precious 'yard'. Following Lacey's imperious display against Derry, those concerns were put to bed. Apart from his excellent man-marking job on Mark Lynch, the former Footballer of the Year also raced forward to score a point. It was a vintage performance from a top class act. Lacey's duel with Kevin Niblock will be one of the highlights of this game.
