KEY BATTLES

VIRGIL VAN DIJK v KENNY MILLER

CELTIC'S Dutch defender need not worry about the pace or aerial threat of veteran Miller, who is willing and able but past his best. Van Dijk's form this season has made a move to England inevitable, with the timing of his departure from Parkhead the only remaining question. However, he is prone to lapses of concentration and with the former Scotland striker nibbling at his heels amid the frenetic atmosphere of an Old Firm game, he will have to be wary.

SCOTT BROWN v KYLE HUTTON

THE Celtic and Scotland skipper is key to the Hoops' game with his drive and dynamism. Without being overly creative on the ball, Brown keeps the tempo high. Along with Nir Biton, the former Hibernian player will look to take a grip of the central midfield for the Parkhead men. Hutton, just back in the side as replacement for Ian Black in recent weeks, is limited going forward and will be happy to play a spoiling role, keeping Brown subdued.

LEIGH GRIFFITHS v LEE McCULLOCH

McCULLOCH'S lack of pace will mean Rangers are likely to spend the majority of the game camped at the edge of their own box fighting a rearguard action.

The Rangers skipper will look to win the aerial battles at free-kicks and corners but will have more trouble keeping the lively Griffiths at bay on the ground, if the former Wolves player gets the nod from Ronny Deila for the main striker's role.
