Mo to go to Glasgow

Britain's double Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah has ended months of speculation by confirming that he will be running this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The triple world champion tweeted this week: "Hi guys! i will be running in the Commonwealth Games this year. See you in Glasgow. "Haven't decided which events to compete in: 1500m, 5,000m, 10,000m. Will let you know as soon as i decide." The 31-year-old was eighth in the London Marathon last month but was advised by his coach Alberto Salazar not to race the distance again. Despite being Olympic and World champion, Farah has yet to take a medal at the Commonwealths. He finished ninth in the 5000m in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne but withdrew from Delhi four years ago due to fatigue.
