IRELAND’S messiest families have been urged to wedge open their front door for a brand-new cleaning show in the Irish language.

Billed as "Kim and Aggie na gaeilge,” TG4’s new production is entitled ‘Is Mise Le Mess’ and introduces “a craic team of cleaners” from the Donegal Gaeltacht - Colleen, Derena and Síle - who are pledging to seek out Ireland’s toughest cleaning challenges and sort out “the nation’s mess”.

Promising more than just your average cleaning show, viewers can expect to go beyond the mundane tasks of cleaning towards “a light-hearted and inspiring experience.”

Producers are now seeking a wide range of slovenly contributors from busy families, those who have just moved house, students and even “self-proclaimed messy individuals”.

Offered the chance to discover the joy of cleaning, participants will receive expert advice on how to overhaul their tidying routine and unclutter their lives.

Some of the key questions for participants are; Are you lost in a sea of clutter, Are you too busy to tidy up, do you dread visits from family and friends, are your little angels messy as hell and are your student digs fit for pigs?

Those interested in taking part are encouraged to contact TG4 by emailing Conall@roninfilms.tv
