MEMBERS of the public have been asked to avoid the scene of a 'serious' road collision in Co Armagh.

The crash occurred on Thursday evening in the Moss View area of Waringstown shortly before 5.45pm

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision at Moss View in Waringstown, and officers would ask members of the public to avoid the area."

Ambulance crews and firefighters also arrived at the scene.

A spokesperson for the NI Ambulance Service said: "Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, no one was taken to hospital."

In a social media post, Upper Bann DUP MP Carla Lockhart said: "Please allow time and space for the emergency services to assist in whatever way they can."
