LOUIS Walsh is on the lookout for talented singers for a new boy and girl band.

The music manager, who has formed some of Ireland's most successful groups such as Boyzone and Westlife, is holding auditions at Vicar Street in Dublin next month.

He said he is looking for talented singers and performers aged 16-21.

However, due to Covid-19 guidelines, there will be no open auditions. Instead applicants are asked to apply by submitting a clip of themselves performing. This can be a link to a YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or just filmed on a phone.

Walsh said finalists would be called for a live audition.

"There is so much great talent here in Ireland and I’m really looking forward to the next few weeks."
