Police from the Terrorism Investigation Unit have charged a man with a number of indecency offences.
The charges follow the discovery of images on mobile phones during the search of a property in County Tyrone on 27th January 2020 as part of an investigation into the activities of violent dissident republicans.
The 33-year-old man has been charged with possession of Category A and Category C indecent images of children and possession of numerous images of extreme pornography.
He is expected to appear before Omagh Magistrates Court on 10th June. As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
