A MAN in his 30s suffered head injuries after being attacked by a group of men in east Belfast.

The victim was walking along Ravenhill Avenue at around 8pm on Wednesday when he was assaulted.

His nose was broken and he suffered a fracture to an eye socket and other cuts and bruising.

Detective Sergeant Natalie Moore described it as a "vicious attack" and appealed for anyone who witnessed what happened "or was travelling in the area and may have dashcam footage" to contact detectives at Musgrave on 101 quoting reference 1975 31/03/21 or submit a report online via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/
