POLICE investigating shots being fired at a house in the outskirts of west Belfast were last night questioning a 37-year-old man.

The attack on the property in the Pembroke Manor area of Dunmurry happened on July 11.

A PSNI spokesman last night said the man was detained yesterday afternoon.

"The man was arrested in the west Belfast area on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances, discharging a firearm in a public place and drugs offences," he said.

"He remains in police custody at this time."
