A MAN aged in his forties suffered a neck injury yesterday after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run in west Belfast.

Police received a report at about 1.50am that a man had been struck by a silver car on Springfield Road.

Officers and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended and the injured man was taken to hospital for treatment of a neck injury.

Police urged anyone who witnessed the crash, or who captured it on their dash cam, to phone detectives at Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number 187 of 19/05/19.
