POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man was struck by a vehicle in an Antrim supermarket carpark.

The collision happened in the Tesco carpark in the town shortly after 5pm yesterday.

The PSNI said he "received minor injuries" after he was hit by a blue car.

They have appealed for witnesses or dash cam footage after the driver of the car failed to remain at the scene. A spokesman added that the Tesco CCTV system is currently being checked.
