Derry arson victim had received death threat

A Derry man targeted in an arson attack at his home has said he was already the subject of a death threat.

Waren Roberts suffered burn injuries when he tried to extinguish a fire after a petrol bomb was thrown at his car in Sevenoaks in the Waterside area early on Sunday.

He said his life was previously threatened when a note and a bullet was sent to his home.

Police said they are following all lines of inquiry on the arson attack and death threat.
