The body recovered from the banks of the River Foyle on Tuesday evening was missing teenager Dean Millar, police have confirmed.

The 18-year-old was last seen in the Brandywell on Saturday March 11 and he is believed to have entered the river close to Craigavon Bridge in the early hours of the following morning.

Daily morning and evening searches have taken place since he went missing.

The find comes after the body of 23-year-old Jack Glenn was recovered from the river last month following weeks of searches.
