A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after a car was set on fire in Craigavon.

He was arrested on suspicion of several offences including arson, threats to kill, common assault and assault on police.

It came after officers received a report on Wednesday at about 9.10pm that a car was on fire in the Drumgor Heights area.

PSNI Chief Inspector Andrew Freeburn said the arrested man remains in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
