Part of a road remains closed following a crash in Derry.

The collision happened on the Limavady Road on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and police closed a stretch of the road in one direction.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Limavady-bound traffic is being diverted along the Glendermott Road. Please exercise caution in the area.”



DUP Waterside councillor Chelsea Cooke said: “My thoughts are with those involved in the collision, and as we await more news I would urge drivers to avoid the area at this stage.”
