A man in his twenties is in a critical condition in hospital with serious head injuries following an assault in Co Down.
The incident happened at licensed premises in the Bridge Street area of Rostrevor at around 9pm on Sunday.
A PSNI spokesperson said it was reported the man “fell to the ground following an altercation”.
“We know that the premises were busy at the time, and would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the altercation, or who may have other information which could assist with our investigation, to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1599 of 31/03/24,” they said.
