Five more people who had tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
In the past three days there have been 18 deaths.
The Department of Health said there had also been 872 new confirmed cases of the virus in the last 24-hour reporting period.
The average rate of infection is 450.2 per 100,000 of the population and is highest in Belfast council area (569.9) and lowest in Ards and North Down (324.6)
There are 202 Covid-19 positive patients in hospital, of whom 34 were in intensive care with 23 of them being ventilated.
There are 97 outbreaks of Covid-19 in care homes, up from 85 on Friday July 30.
The death toll stands at 2,199.
