THE funeral will take place in Derry tomorrow of a three year-old boy who was found dead at his home in the Bogside almost two weeks ago.

Police launched an investigation after Kayden McLaughlin-McGuinness was found dead at his home in Colmcille Court on September 17.

Police released the youngster’s body to his family last night following a post mortem examination which was held last week.

A 23-year-old man arrested in connection with the toddler’s death last Saturday was later released on police bail pending further investigations.

A PSNI spokesman the investigation is continuing.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Columba's Church, Long Tower at 10am tomorrow with burial afterwards at Derry City Cemetery.
