Spotify has fixed a bugbear felt by many users on Android that will be music to their ears.

The music streaming app has made it possible for anyone with an Android device to rearrange their playlists.

While it’s a relatively small addition, it’s one that has been long-requested by frustrated subscribers.

iOS users have long indulged in the ability to change playlists around on iPhone and iPad, so news that Android users can do it too has been warmly welcomed.

Music lovers can now shuffle tracks as they please, simply by tapping the three-dot menu at the top right and selecting “edit playlist”.

They can then hold any song from the right of their screen and drag it further up or lower down.
