Survival Of The Fittest fans said seeing the girls team triumph on the reality show had “made my day” as they trumpeted “girls rule the world”.
The team of four women beat the male team in the final episode of the ITV2 show, when the group that finished an assault course in the fastest time was declared victorious.

The series pit the two teams against each other in a series of physical and mental challenges.
The girls team finished in 9 minutes and 58 seconds, while the boys team finished in 11 mins and 44 seconds.
